About the Product
A commemorative coin with a face value of 1,000 CFA francs was issued in 2004 for the countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WCO / BCEAO) and is dedicated to the XVIII FIFA World Cup, held in Germany in 2006.
The obverse of the coin features the symbols of the West African Monetary Union. On the reverse side there is a composition: a football player kicks a ball on the field, a baobab tree is visible in the background, which refers us to the continent of Africa.
The coin is made of silver and will become a valuable asset in the collection of both numismatists and football fans.
