The commemorative coin with a face value of 20,000 Turkish lira was issued in 1990 and is dedicated to the XIV FIFA World Cup, held in Italy.
The obverse of the coin features the state symbols of the Republic of Turkey. On the reverse side there is a composition: the globe is depicted, where there is a soccer ball on the territory of Italy, where the game took place.
